New Video Experiment

I won't put any explanation up, I want to see what people's reactions are. I didn't start out with any idea or purpose other than to experiment with light and focus, but I got a pretty strong theme coming through the collection of images I gathered and I went with it. So here is my next video experiment:

Balsamic Vinegar

The Balsamico Performance. Litsa Spathi makes a salad with oil and balsamico. The liquid is moved and monsters are formed. All transformed into this video. Published by Fluxus Heidelberg 2006


It's quite a coincidence that I came across this video- I was thinking of filming liquids mixing, specifically filming a clear or white liquid from below whilst drops of a red liquid are poured into it form above. I want to project these images, make an installation of these 'moving paintings'.

Anyway, I was looking up fluxus pieces on youtube, and I found this. It reminds me a lot of Brakhage's experiments with direct applications onto film (Mothlight, etc.)
